James Patterson is an American author who writes fiction for young adults, adults and youth. He started his writing at the age of nineteen. They have made movies and T.V. series from his books such as: Middle School: The Worst Years of my life, Maximum Ride, Kiss the girls, Alex Cross and many more. He had sold 380 million books worldwide, and currently holds the Guinness world record for most #1 New York Times bestsellers.

February 18th is Heritage Day!
This year we celebrate Maud Lewis. A wonderful Nova Scotian artist that expressed herself with brightly coloured paintings of her world. They once sold for $5 each but are now worth 10s of thousands of dollars. To learn a bit about this piece of our heritage, click on the picture below.
