Library staff are currently working on getting things up and ready so students can borrow books via a travelling library!

This year we celebrate Maud Lewis. A wonderful Nova Scotian artist that expressed herself with brightly coloured paintings of her world. They once sold for $5 each but are now worth 10s of thousands of dollars. To learn a bit about this piece of our heritage, click on the picture below.

Like to read? Have a mind for detail? Like to compete?

Ms. White is seeking students in grades 7 to 12 who are interested in taking part in this year's Battle of the Books. To prepare, students will read from a list of books and keep notes of the details found in each book. Then in May they will battle with teams from others schools to claim the 2019 title. 
Battle takes place at CEC, Truro.
